There is no objection to the appointment of members of families throughout the university, regardless of relationship, so long as one family member is not in a position to influence a decision in favor of or against the other.
Therefore, pursuant to the guidelines for enforcement of Executive Order 11246 as promulgated by the United �Ӱ��Ƶs department of health, education and welfare, university employees shall neither initiate nor participate in institutional decisions involving a direct benefit or detriment to members of their immediate families.
Any decisions involving such direct benefit or detriment shall be referred where appropriate to either an immediate supervisor or the proper appointing authority.
