IN A FLASH: A Place of Quiet Contemplation

“Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the ӰƵ Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the Kent Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all ӰƵ students who have died.

The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. The garden is maintained by University Facilities Management and features seasonal plantings, stone benches and a waterfall, designed to mask the sounds outside of the garden for quiet contemplation.
