Biography
While teaching a wide range of history courses, I have been interested in doing research and writing in modern Chinese history and U.S.-China relations, especially educational and cultural interactions between the two nations. I have published a number of books, journal articles, book chapters, encyclopedia essays, and book reviews. My current research focuses mostly on educational and cultural relations between the United ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵs, China, and Taiwan during and after the Cold War.
