ӰƵ Authorization at ӰƵ works with programs and departments to ensure compliance with state and federal law when offering any out-of-state activity (including online courses, field experiences, and recruiting or marketing).
ӰƵ ӰƵ Authorization
Due to changes in federal law brought about during re-authorization of the Higher Education Act in 2010, as well as long-standing consumer protection laws, institutions that wish to offer online or distance learning programs outside of their home states must seek “authorization” to operate from regulatory bodies in other states. The procedures and processes involved in this regulatory compliance for online or distance-learning programs are collectively known as state authorization.
ӰƵ is in a continuous process to comply with regulations pursuant to state authorization, including applying for and maintaining approval and/or exemption status for our online programs in other states.
