In December 2025, Francis Rubagumya, 37, walked across the stage at ӰƵ's commencement with a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language — and a plan to take every lesson he had learned back to the country he loves Rwanda.

Visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial Sets Stage for ӰƵ-Sponsored Peace Conference

On July 10, ӰƵ students visited the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which serves as a place of remembrance and education, during the ӰƵ Kigali Summer Institute, a three-week education-abroad experience that includes the course Rwanda After the Genocide Against the Tutsi.
